Friends,
Greetings to my parish family. We are getting close to opening on March 21! This is exciting. Unfortunately, we will not livestream worship this coming Sunday, March 14. Both of my boys have COVID. They are recovering, but the Board family is in quarantine. I have cancelled the worship team on Sunday in an abundance of caution.
I will offer a meditation on Zoom Sunday morning at 10AM, followed with prayers and a bible study. To be clear, the normal bible study held at 11AM will occur at 10AM. Please go to the Sunday Post on the homepage.
We open for in-person worship on March 21. This will be the fifth Sunday of Lent. In-person services will be at 8AM and 10AM. You must pre-register for attendance. COVID protocols are in place. The livestream will continue at 10AM and the recording is posted promptly afterwards.
Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on March 28. There are in-person and/or virtual offerings every day during Holy Week. Some highlights include daily meditations, Stripping of the Altar, The Prayer Vigil, and an Easter Vigil. The highlight of highlights may be Jane Weber’s Easter Vigil Organ Recital. Look in the Holy Week Post for details and schedules.
Stay safe and healthy.
Peace, Paul
