Friends,

We are gearing up for the holidays, albeit different in the seasons of COVID. Plans are being made now for services and events in November and December. Here is a short list.

There will be a Thanksgiving Eve Eucharist on Wednesday, Nov 25, in-person and livestream at 7.

We cannot hold the Christmas Auction Dinner.

During Advent we will have the Holden Evening Prayer service on Wednesdays at 7PM. This is a musically driven service and it is very beautiful. Come and listen in-person as your Advent meditation. Or listen at home on livestream.

We are planning an Outdoor Live Nativity for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday before Christmas. This replaces our traditional Christmas Pageant on Christmas Eve. We did this a very long time ago and folk still talk about how meaningful it was. Please let me know if you would like to be involved. We need to build a set, cast the actors, and find some animals. There are options for drive-by or you can walk through stations, ending at a bonfire.

There will be four Christmas Eve Services throughout the day and evening. 4PM, 6PM, 8PM, and 10PM. I realize the details are not important this early in the season, but the plans are coming together and I want you to know what will happen.

So let’s begin with Thirty Days of Thanks as we move into the holiday season.
