Help to trial a new curriculum for the Episcopal Church!
A new opportunity is available for those interested in contributing to the Episcopal Church’s involvement in immigration! Sacred Journeys is a new program, ready for pilot testing starting in February. St. Paul’s Outreach Committee has enthusiastically voted to support this program, and we are looking for volunteers to engage in the pilot. The program has 10 sessions, starting the last week of February. Each session will be 2 1/2 hours, similar to the previous program on racism, “Sacred Ground.” This is the proposed pattern: 2 weeks of sessions followed by 1 week of a break. Groups can choose days and times that work for them. Those of us who engaged in Sacred Ground benefitted immensely from this deepened time for discussion. For more information or to volunteer, notify Fran at franboard@gmail.com. Fran will send you copies of slides describing each session and respond to your questions. Hoping to hear from you!
