This message is from Ernie Lippert concerning pre-registration for COVID-19 Vaccination sign up. It is intended for members of the congregation, 65 years and older, who are residents of Lucas County. We have distributed it to everyone in the chance you have friends or relatives who live in Lucas County and qualify for Vaccination Phase 1B. This includes school teachers K-12.

Here is some good news to brighten your day.
Ohioans aged 65 (Class 1b) and older who reside in Lucas County may now pre-register for the Covid-19 vaccine at COVID-19 Vaccine Info | Toledo Lucas County Health Department. You might have to scroll down a bit to see the link to sign up: •VACCINATION SIGN-UP FOR INDIVIDUALS. You will be notified by phone or email when the vaccine is available for you.
Please take advantage of this opportunity for yourself if you are eligible. Even if you are not in Class 1b yourself, perhaps your parents or grandparents are. The website allows you to reserve a vaccine for them.

The sooner a significant number of people are vaccinated, the sooner we can bring this pandemic under control. Covid-19 will be a part of our life but we will learn to manage it like we do with the flu and other communicable diseases. It is up to us, as responsible individuals, to promote vaccinations, the wearing of masks, social distancing, and hand washing as part of the fight against this pandemic.
