Advent Soup Suppers and Holden Evening Prayer
We pause Bible Study during Advent so that everyone can attend Soup Suppers on Wednesdays (Dec. 4, 11, and 18) at 6PM and the beautiful, music-driven liturgy of Holden Evening Prayer at 6:40. This ~20 minute prayer service is a welcome time of contemplation and rest during a busy holiday season! Please join us any week.
Drop In Any Time!
Bible Study is a one-hour meeting with a group of people going deep into the Bible to learn its wisdom and apply it to our lives. There are podcasts you can listen to in advance to have a shared background, or you can just hop on, listen to a summary and read the chapters together, and join in the discussion of interesting themes.
Worried you don’t know enough about the Bible? Same here! I learn MANY new things every single week. We’re not experts; we’re all learning together! There is no previous knowledge required, just an open mind and a desire to know more. You can study the Bible on your own, but it is designed to be studied and discussed in community. Every time you revisit something, you will learn something new because YOU are at a different point in your spiritual journey.
Come give it a try!
