Celebrating Toledo Pride with St. Paul’s!
For the second year in a row, St. Paul’s will be a part of Better Together: Faith Communities United for Pride! This is a multi-faith group whose goal is to unite different faith communities for Pride to model inclusion and love. We will all be marching together in the Toledo Pride parade on Saturday, August 16th at 12:00 PM. There will also be a booth at Trinity Episcopal Church downtown where people can celebrate if they don’t want to or aren’t able to march in the parade. More information for the event will be shared as it becomes available. Last year 27 different Faith Communities participated, and this year there will be 29 from eight different faith traditions. Come be a part of this wonderful demonstration of love!
Better Together thoughtfully designed a t-shirt for the parade, which is available for purchase for $20 through 11:59PM on Tuesday, July 15th. Click here to purchase a shirt and be sure to select “St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Maumee” under Faith Community. Jaimie Deye will pick up the St. Paul’s shirts from Jupmode and distribute them before the event.
Please let Jaimie know if you are planning to participate!
