Strengthening St. Paul’s—Before We Lose What We Love
As we continue our stewardship season, we are reminded that the ministries of St. Paul’s—our worship, outreach, formation, pastoral care, and the many programs that bring strength and hope to our parish family—are funded entirely by the annual giving of our members. Your gift truly matters. Without increased support in this campaign, St. Paul’s faces the real possibility of significant cuts to programming—the very ministries that form us, support us, and allow us to tell God’s story in this place.
If you are still discerning your pledge, there are several ways to make a meaningful gift that may also offer financial advantages:
Gifts of Stock
Donating appreciated securities can increase your impact while offering tax benefits. A direct stock transfer to St. Paul’s allows you to avoid capital gains tax and helps protect the programs that shape our life together.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)
If you give through a Donor-Advised Fund, recommending a grant to St. Paul’s is one of the simplest ways to strengthen our ministries right now. DAF gifts immediately support the operating budget and help prevent the reduction of essential parish programs.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (IRA Gifts)
For those aged 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA can satisfy required minimum distributions while reducing taxable income. A direct IRA gift to St. Paul’s sustains our mission at a time when every dollar is critical to keeping our programming intact.
Your participation—through a pledge or one of these special types of gifts—helps ensure that the story God is telling through St. Paul’s continues with strength, hope, and vitality. Thank you for prayerfully considering how you can help us protect the ministries we cherish.
