This week we have learned that our dear Raccoon teacher, Molly Gillespie, has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma and will undergo surgery on Tuesday to have a proximal femoral resection to remove the infected area, and then will begin chemotherapy. Needless to say, she will not be returning this school year so that she can fully recover. We ask that you keep Molly, her husband Kris and four boys, Ryan, Tyler, Evan, and Myles in your prayers.
We are putting together a care package as she will have a long recovery, if anyone would like to contribute we will be collecting all next week. We are trying to find things for her to keep her mind busy while she heals.
If you would like to help out financially, here is a list of restaurants and grocery stores to which you could provide a gift card: Meijer, Costco, Walmart, Churchills, Chick Fil A, and Marco’s Pizza. You can bring the gift cards into the school and we will be delivering them to Molly.
